Importing New Work Environment Profiles

If amendments have been made to your Work Environment Profiles, an .xml file can be created and provided to the office.

The process to import this new Profile into an individuals computer can be followed below. You must first access the Work Environment within ARCHICAD through the following path:

• Options > Work Environment > Work Environment…

With the Work Environment Dialog Box opened you are able to navigate to the Work Environment Profiles and select the Import Option.Within the Import Profile Dialog Box please browse for the folder which contains the Profiles.xml. ARCHICAD will find the relevant Profiles within that folder and allow you to Import.After Selecting Import, the New Profile will be available in your Work Environment Profiles Section. Now select the Added Profile and click on the Apply Schemes of Profile button.A Dialog Box will appear stating that the new Profile will be applied, select the Apply button.

This will apply the profile and in addition all the scheme settings linked to that profile. Once completed click OK and watch your Work Environment change to your new Office Standard.
