Attributes in your Template file

The Attributes of an ARCHICAD file are the building blocks of everything that gets drawn and modeled.
We intentionally divide the Attributes in two groups:
The Peripheral Attributes and the Core Attributes.

Core Attributes are at the base of the pyramid and they help building the Peripheral Attributes:

and there are also dependencies....

The Attributes list of your Template file has been backed up into a XML file placed at:
":K\STANDARDS\SUPPORT FILES V20\"

Let's have a brief explanation of some of the Attributes in your file:

Layers and Layer Combinations

Note the relationship between the names in the Layer Combinations and the Dedicated Annotation Layers. The idea is: Use only ONE Annotation Layer per Drawing Style; therefore all 2D content will be placed in that Annotation layer (red group in the image below)

Composites

Note that Names have been Coded per Element Types, so of you change the composite it will also change the Tags in your annotations. This will automate the way these elements represent in Plan , Section and 3D and it's tag
Use the dedicated Label Favourite to take advantage of this workflow
